During your first appointment, your physical therapist will conduct an evaluation which consists of objective and subjective findings.  The Plan of Care including frequency and length of your physical therapy program will be discussed.  Instruction on your home exercise program will also be included.  A written report of your initial evaluation is then sent to your physician for his/her records.

What to bring on your first day…

Þ A physician referral/prescription for physical therapy

Þ Your insurance card

Þ Comfortable clothing

*Body Werks Physical Therapy is contracted with most health insurance plans including Medicare.  Our billing department will submit your claims on your behalf.  Processing of claims generally takes 30-60 days.  After your insurance has processed and/or paid the claims, Body Werks Physical Therapy will send a bill to you (if applicable).
